In the newly added monitoring room of Nangangwa Pumping Station, the modern video monitoring system has entered the debugging state, and the real-time picture of Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao high-speed vehicles flying is displayed on the LCD screen. The monitoring staff clicked the mouse, the monitoring screen began to scan the scene in high definition, and the rain grate of the roadside drainage system was all clear.

The Nangangwa pumping station equipped on the road section has undergone large-scale renovation inside and outside. In the pumping station, the equipment in the pumping room has been updated. During the flood season, a group of emergency rescue units will also be put in to guard against excessive water accumulation and threaten the normal operation of the pump room. "As long as there is rain, regardless of the amount of rainfall, we will specially send maintenance personnel to be on duty under the bridge." Accumulation of water through the warning line automatically closes the road

"Video monitoring is not enough to accurately display the water accumulation." Zhang Jiaji, manager of the mechanical and electrical project of the first maintenance company, told reporters that in order to control the water depth of the road area in real time, the monitoring system of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway has deliberately added a data transmission function to automatically detect water accumulation by sensors. In order to connect the small sensors to the monitoring system of the pumping station, the construction personnel painstakingly laid more than 700 meters of line transmission lines from the pumping station, bypassing the highway bridge 200 meters away, and then passed through the green belt. In order to prevent rainwater erosion, the line was also firmly covered with a layer of galvanized steel pipe, and then buried in the soil.

"Once the water level exceeds the warning line of 27 cm, the monitoring system will automatically send an alarm message to the command platform and send a mobile phone call to the relevant business person in charge." The relevant person in charge of the first maintenance company said that the sensor is also installed on the roof of the Nangangwa pump station , You can measure rainfall in real time, so as to take targeted drainage measures.

Drawing on the lessons learned from the large number of vehicles stranded on flooded roads last year, the SFG has also prepared early warning and emergency countermeasures during the flood season. Once the water in this section exceeds 27 cm, road closure measures will be taken immediately to prevent more vehicles from entering the highway.
