New donkey outdoor knowledge literacy: how to use the mountaineering bag correctly

A good backpack can make your trip more comfortable. As the most important part of self-service travel, the design and capacity of backpacks are directly related to the success of travel. It is possible to determine the backpacks of different capacities according to the length of the journey and the actual needs. Generally, there are more than 30 liters to 70 liters of different types. My backpack is very large, 70 liters, professional backpack will have two aluminum tube support structure, the force is evenly distributed to the points; the general outside of the backpack will have many plug-in, you can hang such as a kettle, tripod And many other things.

The correct way to pack a backpack is to balance the things on both sides and put the heavy things on top. General backpack is divided into two layers, the lower layer can be put sleeping bags, shoes and so on.

(1) Packing

Place tents, sleeping bags, and moisture-proof mats in their respective backpacks. Put your own clothing into the crevices of these items. Put the food and other miscellaneous items on it. Commonly used things are placed in the side pockets of the backpack, such as toilet paper. , flashlight, water bottle, etc. Note: The heavy thing should be placed on the upper part of the backpack, and don't put the sleeping bag and moistureproof mat on the ground when loading, so as to avoid dirtying or let the insect climb into.

(2) Backpacks

Loosen the shoulder strap, place the bag in a higher position or allow others to hold it, tighten the belt and shoulder strap after the bag is on the back, tighten the belt of the backpack so that most of the weight of the bag is distributed to the waist and buttocks. Keep your shoulders from getting tired. Tighten your shoulder straps to keep your backpack closer to your back. There are backpack numbers on each backpack during the team training. Please remember to remember your own package number to avoid mistakes.

How should the piggyback system be selected?

You can't just read the capacity and number when buying a package, but also how much of the suspension system you use.

Before choosing the package, you'd better ask your family and friends to help you measure your torso length using a ruler (preferably a tailor's soft tape measure). This torso length refers to the distance between your seventh vertebra (the bone that stands most prominently at the junction of your neck and shoulders) and the vertebra that is parallel to your sacrum. The length of this trunk is in line with your inner frame needs. Do not assume that you should have a large bag on the back of a one-meter-eight, some have short legs and some have long legs.

In general, if your torso length is less than 45 cm, you should buy a small package. If your torso is 45-52 cm in length, you should choose a medium bag. If your trunk is more than 52 cm in length, you should pick a large bag.

Good manufacturers offer extra-large (56 cm or more) or extra-small (40 cm or less) bags, and they can also be tailor-made. The size of packages varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, and the package sizes vary from one manufacturer to another. You better be able to ask clearly, or find some data, it is not enough to measure the length of the internal frame.

Where can I adjust my backpack?

For a backpack of 45 liters or more, there are at least five elastic bands that can be adjusted and have different functions:

Belts: Thick belts are important parts of the backpack's apportionment weight and are the most obvious difference between professional backpacks and regular backpacks. Belt can be adjusted according to personal needs, adjusted to bear comfort.

The sizes of the manufacturers are different. In general, the size of the belt is as follows:

If your waist circumference (around the cheekbone) is less than 68 cm, choose a trumpet.

If your waist is 68-78 cm, choose a trumpet.
If your waist is 78-92 cm, check the number.
If your waist is 92-106 cm, choose a large size.
If your waistline is more than 106cm, choose extra large.

In addition, because men and women are different in shape, good manufacturers have designed some backpacks for girls. The carrying system of these bags is specially made according to the physical characteristics of women.

Shoulder straps: A well-designed backpack with a heavy shoulder strap and a degassing effect will not be uncomfortable when the general weight does not exceed 1/3 of the weight. Adjust it so that there is no gap between the bag and your shoulder blade (except for the humpbacked ones). A good bag can arbitrarily adjust the weight distribution on the shoulder. You can adjust it according to your physical strength and environment.

Chest strap: Used to adjust the distance between the two shoulder straps. When used, it should be adjusted so that the backpack can not only adhere to the body, but also does not have a sense of oppression. The chest strap is evident when reducing the weight bearing on the shoulders.

Backpack compression belt: The main function is to adjust the backpack capacity, the external equipment and keep the center of gravity does not move.

Center of gravity adjustment belt: the strap between the upper strap and the backpack, is the center of gravity adjustment belt, usually maintain a 45 degree angle, tension can move the center of gravity to the shoulder, release can move the center of gravity to the buttocks, between the shoulder and hip The adjustment can reduce fatigue. On the road, you can increase the center of gravity, and lower the center of gravity when you are downhill.

How to adjust the backpack?

1. Before you buy a backpack, you should loosen all adjustment belts and add weight, because without weight, you can't know the feeling of the backpack's back and the adjustment range is appropriate.

2. After carrying the backpack, check whether the arc of the aluminum strip is in line with the back curve. If it is not, check whether the aluminum strip is bendable; if it can be bent, the aluminum strip will naturally bend into a curve that matches the back when used for a period of time. Is the backpack and back contact part comfortable and breathable?

3. Shoulder straps and backpacks must be 5-8 cm below the shoulders, and the space between shoulder straps and backpacks should be small. The chest strap adjusts the width of the shoulder strap at the front of the chest and makes the shoulder strap more comfortable on the shoulder and prevents the backpack from shaking.

4. When adjusting the backpack to the most suitable position, check the sight of the head. Can you look up and not touch the top of your backpack? Can you still look up to the sky while wearing a helmet?

5. The adjustment range of the shoulder harness must be consistent with the length of the back so that the center of gravity can fall in the ideal position; the hip belt must be able to tie on the sacrum. You should also be able to see the hips and legs from behind when lifting your backpack. Women with smaller bodies should pay special attention to this point. Do not look back on the backpack and calf when carrying the backpack. This is very wrong and dangerous.

In short, good piggyback system adjustment is appropriate, most of the weight (more than 60%) can be transferred to the ankle and buttocks, so that different muscle parts can share the weight, so that your shoulders will be a lot easier and more flexible activities . Only then can you have enough energy to enjoy nature.
